The ASDA spring summer lookbook and autumn winter lookbook is created twice a year. ASDA gives the team at CODA all the new trends and colours and we pull them together in a striking, coherent way. We’re currently working on the Autumn Winter 2012 ranges but our lips are sealed as to the stunning ranges that will be going into stores later this year.
The Spring Summer ranges are currently being launched into the major ASDA home stores. Each range has its own typography and colour palette and here, Mike Connon, Liz Cummings and Wayne Vickers share their thoughts on their favourite ranges.
Liz Cummings, Creative Director said “I love Cosy Classics: it is all about shabby chic tinged with a French influence. The main colours are creams and soothing blue-greys, great to relax amongst after a long day. The range includes cushions, boxes and birdcages with pictures of birds and cushions with large cable knits mixed in with faded florals. My particular favorite, which will feature in my lounge, is the ‘birds cushion’.”
Mike Connon, Managing Director said “My favorite is Kasbah, I was particularly drawn to this range of reds and sumptuous browns, dark wooden letters and burnished leather sofas. It reminds me of the souks in Morocco, although there is a modern twist with geometric shapes printed on to cushions. This is a great range if you want to use your home to get away from our grey, English winters.”
Wayne Vickers, Digital Director said “I particularly like Jet Splash especially as I can really see this range fitting in to my bathroom at home: this range is stunning in an unusual way. It combines teals and aqua with red poppies and peacock feathers and is bright and cheery, perfect for bringing accents of happiness into the home.”
